Welcome to East Grand Escape, a private year-round waterfront home in Danforth, Maine. Unique home with 2 floors of living and sleeping space. Enjoy your morning coffee & watch the sunrise with amazing open lake views into Canada from every window. Bring your boat, ATV or snowmobile for excellent fishing & recreation ALL year long.
Our home has 2 bedrooms, 6 beds and 1.5 baths. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. We also have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The basement bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size on the bottom and single on top as well as a separate single bed. We also have a full size futon in the living area in the basement. Outside you will find a large sloping lawn on the lake side from the house to the waters edge. Excellent frontage for swimming in the summer or ice fishing & snowmobiling in the winter with easy walk in lake access. Our lot across the street has extra parking as well as a private trail for access to the local ATV & snowmobile trails. We are located halfway down a private dirt road and 4-wheel drive is recommended in the spring and winter months.

Guests have access to the entire property, including one side of the detached garage behind the house. We have a 6 guest, 2 dog (with fee) maximum policy unless otherwise agreed upon. The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age to rent our home. We do not allow parties, events or smoking of any kind on our property. Quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am. We have a video doorbell right above the lock box and a camera on the top of the garage to monitor the parking area to make sure only our guest are using the property. Self Check-in anytime after 4:00pm (lock box code will be provided 48 hours prior to arrival) and Checkout before 10:00am. We will invoice you for a deposit once your booking request is approved. Full payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date. A full refund will be given to anyone who cancels more than 30 days before arrival. Please check out our availability calendar and then click “Request to Book” to fill out your information. Reservations are not confirmed until payment and a copy of the front and back of your license is received.
